Update: Dogsitting & Cults.

All the best laid plans tend to encounter hiccups, which is true for me when it comes to last week. My parents decided to pick up a camper van which meant the dogs needed to be looked after, which I don’t mind, but it did take up Friday evening and much of Saturday. Couple that with the fact I was working Good Friday and I’m working Easter Monday, means I didn’t get much of the Easter weekend to play video games. It also meant I didn’t get to take part in the Hatching-Tide event for Final Fantasy XIV until Sunday.

Still, it didn’t stop me from playing a little bit of Far Cry 5 with my brother, which resulted in some crazy gun fights with cultists, that involved a flaming bear and crashing a helicopter into into a silo. Its a long story.

Update: Its All the Real World’s Fault.

Yes, I blaming real life for my disappearance for the past four days. I was working on Sunday which meant I missed spending Mother’s Day with my mother and there’s some negative things going on at work, nothing aimed at me but it is affecting the atmosphere there. Still, this week is a new week which means things could look up, if not, I can always take my frustration out on some Templars!

Well, last week it was released and I may have played more it than Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. Oops. Fortunately, I have a week off work this week, so I’m such I’ll be able to catch up on my Assassin’s Creed challenge and I definitely won’t get distracted with medieval Bohemia…

Update: Almost Back On Track!

Last week, I was focusing on catching up on things after the whole Internet issue. Its kind of scary how much the Internet has become a part of my life and without it, a lot of the things I do can grind to a halt. This coming week, I should be fully past those technical issues, two weeks on from the trauma. So, yay for technological dependency!
