Since it is the start of November, today, I am going to talk about the books I read in October. With eleven books read, there is plenty for me to talk about, so without further ado let’s take a look at the books!Continue reading “Reading in October 2022.”
I was recently going through the Sword and Laser book list and it occurred to me that there are a lot of book series and trilogies that I have started and never finished. This got me thinking, don’t worry this isn’t another challenge, about those series that I would love to revisit and continue with. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at these series!Continue reading “Book Series That I Want To Finish.”
Early last week, I found out that ABC’s Once Upon a Time has not been renewed for an eighth season. I’ll be honest, I stopped watching the show about half way through season six; it felt to me that the storyline for each season was just repeating itself and quite a few of the characters had very little development, which was a shame as I had initially loved Once Upon a Time in its early seasons. I’ll probably, closer to the final episodes of ONCE, actually write a post about what I think went wrong but that won’t be for a few months yet.
On a more positive note, my sister has gotten me hooked onto another TV show, Orphan Black. I’ve only watched the first four episodes, but I feel this maybe a show I’ll binge watch. Orphan Black is a mystery/thriller/sci-fi show about a woman who discovers that there are clones of herself and their search for the truth. I guess I should thank my sister for giving me something to watch, when I’m way behind on my gaming challenge!
Last week, I was focusing on catching up on things after the whole Internet issue. Its kind of scary how much the Internet has become a part of my life and without it, a lot of the things I do can grind to a halt. This coming week, I should be fully past those technical issues, two weeks on from the trauma. So, yay for technological dependency!
