I really enjoyed responding to Later Levels’ Question of the Month for October, so I thought I would do the same with their November question!

I try and avoid using these update posts to rant about things but today is going to be an exception. People in the UK, Bonfire night is the 5th November, not the 4th, not the 3rd. Why is Bonfire Night celebrated on the 5th November? Because that is when the Gunpowder plot was foiled in 1605. Not the 4th, not the 5th. If you are going to celebrate the day when a group of people were arrested and would eventually be tortured and brutally executed, then celebrate on the right day. If that is inconvenient for you, then perhaps you shouldn’t celebrate this year. As someone who has to dogs, Bonfire night is not the best night of the year, but to have it spread across three nights instead of one is a nightmare. Also, there’s a special place in a certain fiery place for those individuals that think setting off fireworks at 10pm is hilarious. You know who you are.
OK, rant over. Let’s move into some more positive things.

So, this week came the realisation that I’m getting old. Yes, I know, I’m a little slow on the uptake. You see, my workplace does this whole work experience placement thing, which 15 year old children in the UK have to do. Basically, you apply to work somewhere for two weeks to give you an idea of what the adult world of work is all about. In my workplace, I’m the lucky soul who gets to hang out with these teenagers and help them through their work experience. Its actually not that bad, that is until I realised that I was finishing secondary school when this kid, that’s with us, was starting primary school! Then there was the part over lunch when he felt he had to explain what Steam was. I guess he didn’t think an old, decrepit 20 something would know what Steam was… Still, it has been fun, especially when the guy thinks work is easier than school. Hehe, he’ll learn…
I’ll be honest, I hate the heat. Freezing cold, I can deal with but when the temperature outside starts to rise, I just can’t handle it. So, I’m probably one of the few people in the UK who is praying for some rain. Unfortunately, it looks like this heat is here to stay for July and perhaps even August. Yay.
Anyway, enough of my complaining, let’s talk about what I’ve been doing!
Yet again, I’m breaking the rules, as I’m going to be talking about two games that I play to relax.

A recent Crown crate log in event, means that I have three Crown Crates to open and with the release of Summerset earlier this month, the Crown Crate theme has changed to match it. The crates are based on Psijic Order, so I imagine there is going to be a lot of magical themed items.

With E3 over for another year, all that’s let is to wait for all those nice games to be released… or at least wait for the announcement that something has been delayed. There were a number of games this year that caught my eye, which means that the end of this year and the beginning of 2019 will probably see me part with my hard earned money!
Until recently, I would have struggle with this question, as the games I tend to play are more enjoyable when you play them. I mean seriously, who would enjoy watching someone grind a JRPG? But since I’ve been watching more live streams on Twitch, I finding that watching other people play video games actually enjoyable, depending on the game of course.
