Back in June, I posted two polls asking readers of this blog to decided which two games I would play, after Biomutant, of which Shadow of the Colossus was one of the games chosen. At the weekend, I completed the game and I’m starting to think you guys just want to emotionally torture me. My emotionally suffering aside, I did enjoy my experience with the game and I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you today.Continue reading “Shadow of the Colossus – A Video Game Review.”
So, this is a little bonus post for this week but I just wanted to bring some attention to my boyfriend’s Twitch channel, TheMightyPie. I’m not great at these sort of ‘promotion’ things, so apologies for the slightly rambling mini-post!
He has recently decided to start streaming on Twitch, so he is still learning the ropes but he has now set up a streaming schedule. At the moment, my boyfriend is attempting a playthrough of the original Final Fantasy VII using only Cloud. This is his favourite game of all time and he knows the game inside out, so he often does these challenge runs to increase the difficulty for himself.
If you want to support someone who is just starting out with the whole streaming thing or are interested in watching someone play Final Fantasy VII, then you can check out TheMightyPie channel here. The next stream will be 8pm (BST) on Monday and hopefully, I will be able to talk to some of you guys in the chat!
Its been a while since I talked about video game collecting so, I thought, today I would talk about the games I would love to one day have in my video game collection. Some of these will be games that are just a little too expensive, while others are too hard to find and some will just be games I just haven’t gotten around to buying. I will say that I can pretty much buy all of these games digitally, however I am a bit of a physical games collector and I would love to get each of these games physically. Finally, when I talk about the games being expensive or hard to find, I am talking about buying PAL physical versions of the games, so they may be easier or cheaper to acquire elsewhere in the world. WIth all that being said, let’s take a look at the games I would love to add to my collection!Continue reading “My Game Collection: The Games I Wish To Add.”
Its been a while since I’ve written a Gaming A-Z post, so I thought I should get back into writing these posts on a regular basis. Today’s post is about a game whose title begins with the letter ‘N’. I’ll be honest, there was only really one choice, so let’s take a look!Continue reading “Thero’s Gaming A-Z: N.”
Its been a few months since I last talked about the Humble Choice monthly bundles. So, I thought today would be a good time to take a look at the games available for July- let’s take a look!Continue reading “Humble Choice – July 2021’s Picks.”
We’ve passed the halfway point of 2021! I don’t know if its just me, but this year seems to be flying by. Still, I did manage to get some gaming done in June, so let’s take a look at the games I played!Continue reading “Gaming in June 2021.”
Its been a while since I wrote a ‘Gotta Play ‘Em All!’ posts, so here is the second post, finally! Today, I am talking about Invizimals: The Alliance, a PS Vita game that tried to tap into the monster catching/battling genre. Let’s take a look at this rather unique game.Continue reading “Gotta Play ‘Em All! – Invizimals: The Alliance.”
Back at the very end of last year/beginning of this year, I wrote a post about my New Year Gaming Resolutions. Well, since we are about halfway through the year, I thought today would be a good day to take a look at how much progress I have made with said resolutions. Let’s take a look!Continue reading “Revisiting My Gaming New Year Resolutions.”
Its been a while, but I’m back with another Gaming A-Z post! We are now hal;f way through this series of posts, so lets take a look at the game I picked for the letter M…Continue reading “Thero’s Gaming A-Z: M.”
This is just a really quick update post about the two polls I had on my most recent Gaming Update post. Well, the results are in, so let’s take a look at what you guys have picked for me to play after I finish Biomutant.
Which of these shorter games should I play next on my PS4?
This first poll was all about a game that would take me about ten-fifteen hours to complete. The four options were:
- Shadow of the Colossus.
- Titanfall 2.
- The Order: 1886.
- New Super Lucky’s Tale.
Out of the two polls this was the one that had the most interest. Both Titanfall 2 and The Order: 1886both received one vote each, but with just two votes, Shadow of the Colossus was the winner.
Which of these JRPGs should I play next?
Here are the games that were the options for this poll:
- Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth.
- Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.
- The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel.
- Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition.
This poll came down to two game, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Dragon Quest XI; with one vote between them, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth won the poll!
So, thos were the two games that you picked! I’ll probably start with Shadow of the Colossusand then move onto Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, as I don’t want to play a JRPG after an open world RPG. I’d like to thank all those who took part in these two polls and keep an eye on the blog for these games in my Gaming Update posts!
