Video Game Music Challenge- Day 18. Music In A Game Released The Year You Were Born.

OK, this post is going to make me feel old…

When I was thinking about what game music I would talk about for today, there really only was one. It just so happens that the very first video game I ever played, Sonic the Hedgehog, just so happened to be released the same year I was born. That year was 1991, in case you were wondering. And yes, I now feel old, thank you.

I’ve talked about my love and nostalgia for Sonic the Hedgehog and its soundtrack in a previous post; so, I’m just going to leave you with Grean Hill Zone composed by Masato Nakamura.

I’m now going to pass the question to you guys: what music, from a video game released the same year you were born, do you enjoy listening to? Or if you’re not keen sharing the year you were born, what music from a video game released in 1991 do you enjoy listening to? Let me know in the comments and I’ll talk to you soon!
