November Humble Monthly… Unboxing?!

Its been a while since I’ve done one of these Humble Monthly Bundle posts, which I am really sorry about. So, lets not delay any further and jump into the November bundle!

1.Call of Duty: WWII.

The first game in the bundle is Call of Duty WWII. Now I’m not a huge fan of the modern Call of Duty games; in fact, the last COD game I played was World at War on the Xbox 360. Call of Duty WWII is a throwback to the earlier games in the series as it is set, unsurprisingly, during World War II. Whilst I’m not keen on the newer titles, I loved playing the series on the Playstation 2, so Call of Duty: WWII certainly appeals to my nostalgia. I think I’ll at least play the campaign and maybe co-op.

Price on Steam: £44.99 (UK)/ $59.99 (US).

2. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Next up is one the games that made me really want this month’s bundle, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. This game is the first three Crash Bandicoot games completely remade for this gaming generation. I actually own this game on Playstation 4 and while it is incredibly difficult, I loved playing it. I can’t wait to rekindle my love of platformers with this game in my Steam library!

Price on Steam: £34.99 (UK)/ $39.99 (US).

3. Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

The third game is another trilogy of games, that was the other reason I wanted this bundle. Spyro Reignited Trilogy is, like the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a complete remake of the first three Spyro games. Again, I do have this on the Playstation 4 but I love the Spyro games, especially Year of the Dragon. This is another platformer series that I would highly recommend playing, especially if you loved the 3D platformers from the 90s.

Price on Steam: £34.99 (UK)/ $39.99 (US).

4. Shenmue I & II.

The next game in the bundle is another classic video game collection, this time Shenmue I & II from Sega. I have to admit, that I have never played either of these games but I have heard that they are classics. The games follow Ryo, a young man seeking to avenge his father who was murdered. I certainly going to give these two games a try, even if its just to experience these classics just once.

Price on Steam: £24.99 (UK)/ $29.99 (US).

5. 11-11: Memories Retold.

The fifth game is another one set during World War II, although this game is more narrative driven than Call of Duty: WWII. In 11-11: Memories Retold, you follow the stories of two men: a Canadian photographer called to the frontlines and a German man looking for his son, who is missing in action. I imagine that this game is going to look at the more emotional side of the conflict. One of the interesting things about this game is the art style, which sort of looks like watercolour paintings, giving the game a unique look. I’ll be taking a look at this game at some point.

Price on Steam: £19.99 (UK)/ $29.99 (US).

6. SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising.

From a game set in the past to one set in the future, the next game is SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising. SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising is a top down shooter in which you must defeat hordes of machine, all intent on killing you. I’m not a huge fan of crazy shooters but at some point, I’ll probably give it a go at some point.

Price on Steam: £16.99 (UK)/ $19.99 (US).

7. Evergarden.

Evergarden is a puzzle game in which you combine plants to create items and grow your garden. This looks like it could be a chilled out and relaxing gaming experience. The fact that there is a daily challenge, definitely gives the game some mileage. I think this would be a game that I occasionally dip into when I have a few minutes to spare.

Price on Steam: £7.19 (UK)/ $9.99 (US).

8. Operator.

As always, the last game in the bundle is the Humble Original. This month’s game is called Operator which appears to be a mixture of a hacking game and an investigative game. I just recently finished the first Orwell game, which seems to have the same sort of vibes as Operator, so I may give this Humble Original ago.

And that was the November bundle! This was seriously a good bundle. I’ll be honest, I was just happy to get Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, so the other games were just a bonus. What game did you like form the bundle? Let me know in the comments!

December’s revealed games are: Yakuza Kiwami, Soul Caliber VI and My Time in Portia. So, if you are interested in these games and subscribe now, you can unlock them instantly. If not, come back next month and I’ll reveal all the games included in the bundle.

See you next time!
