I’m writing this post quite late, much later than usual. So I apologise, but this is going to be a little short and a little rushed. I will make up for it soon, I promise!
What have I been reading?
I am still reading both, Night’s Master by Tanith Lee and The Empire of Ashes by Anthony Ryan. I can safely say I prefer The Empire of Ashes to Night’s Master. I’ll be honest, this is the first time this year that I am tempted to not finish a book. The best way I can describe Night’s Master is if Ursula K. Le Guin and Stephen R. Donaldson decided to write a book together, then Night’s Master could easily be that book. I hate not finishing books, so I’m going to keep going but I can’t imagine the second half of the book will convince me to like it.
As for The Empire of Ashes, it is certainly living up to my expectations! Still, it feels a little slower than the second book but I have about three hundred more pages to go, so the pace may pick up. Either way, I can’t wait to read the conclusion to this trilogy!
What have I been playing?
Unfortunately, I didn’t take any screenshots for this post. Still, the main thing I have been playing Elder Scrolls Online. I’m still in Coldhabor but I get the feeling I’m nearing the end of that zone and I can’t wait to pick up the rest of the Aldmeri Alliance quest line.
What’s going on with the blog?
Last week, I managed to post on Wednesday and Friday; in case you missed those posts, here they are:
Now, going back to the title of this post, this week I’ll only be posting on Wednesday. This is down to something that maybe happening on Thursday that may prevent me from being active on this blog for the next couple of days. I know I’m being a little vague and mysterious, as nothing is 100% definite. However if you don’t see me around from Wednesday onwards, rest assured you will find out what all this is about on my update post next week.
On again, I’m sorry this has been a little bit of a rushed post, things going on in my life are making things a little hectic. What have you guys been up to? Having you been enjoying the remainder of the summer? Let me know in the comments and I’ll talk to you soon!
