30 Day Video Game Challenge: Day 12. A Game You Hope Gets The Virtual Reality Treatment.

The time has come to get a little virtual in this challenge!

Today’s topic is an interesting one, as I’m actually struggling to think of a game that deserves to be made in VR, that hasn’t already had that treatment. Having played a couple of games on my brother’s VR headset, I can say straight off that the game must have first person mode, otherwise the VR effect, in my opinion, would be wasted,

I think the game I would like to be given the VR treatment wuld be Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Admittedly, I would want the game to go through some more updates before this, as there are still some broken/glitchy aspects to the game. Even with these issues, I think Kingdom Come: Deliverance would make for an interesting VR experience.

As a nit of a history nerd, the idea of being able to explore medieval Europe sounds like a dream come true. The fact the developers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse studios, have tried everything they possible can to create a realistic experience with the game already further supports the idea of turning it into a VR game. I would point out that if it weren’t for the fact that the games weren’t in first person, I would also say that the Assassin’s Creed series were also a stronger contender for this topic.

Over to you guys now, which game would like to see be made into VR? Let me know in the comments and join me tomorrow when I’ll be talking about my favourite video game villain. See you then!
