It may only be March but Final Fantasy XIV show no sign in slowing down the amount of seasonal events they’re holding. Today, I’m talking about the March event, Little Ladies’ Day!
How do you take part in the event?
To take part , there is only one requirement this time and that is to level 15 in any class/job. As long as you meet that requirement, head over to Ul’dah and talk to the reporter for the Mythril Eye in order to start the quest, A Colorful Affair.
What is the event?
Little Ladies’ Day is actually a pretty straightforward event. After talking to the reporter to start the quest, you will spend most of your time running a couple of errands around Ul’dah and then taking part in a special seasonal FATE. In fact, most of your time will be spent reading dialogue and waiting for the FATE to start. The FATE itself is pretty straightforward, it only involves targeting specific NPCs with specific emotes, as long as you match the colours of the glowsticks with the right NPC, you will complete this FATE in no time.
What are the rewards?
The rewards are a little different this time as instead of mounts or minions, we are given three emotes (the ones you use to complete the FATE) to be able to use. I can’t imagine I’ll be using these emotes a lot but I do like the fact that they are bit different to the usual rewards. If you want more conventional rewards, by completing the FATE multiple times you can exchange the certificates you earn for either a Doll Display Table for your house or the Siren Song Orchestrion Roll. All participants in the event will also get the achievement, The Fan in Fanatic.
Overall, Little Ladies Day is a short but sweet seasonal event that I rather enjoyed. The FATE was enjoyable and it was a nice change to the more combat orientated FATEs that are in Final Fantasy XIV. I also liked the fact that the rewards for the event are different from the other rewards from previous events, although I probably won’t be using the emotes much. Little Ladies’ Day was a great event to tide Final Fantasy XIV players over, until the Easter event.
If you want to take part in the event, you have until Wednesday 14th March to take part.
