Update: It Appears I Didn’t Learn My Lesson From Last Year…

Hi guys! It seems I am a insane, insane enough to attempt Daily December once more. What’s Daily December? Its where I write one post a day throughout December. Think of it as your virtual Thero advent calendar. I’m not sure f anyone would want a Thero advent calendar, but hey, at least it is free! Last year’s attempt at Daily December went OK, until the last week of December, where it sort of spiralled out of control and I cheated slightly by combining it with the end of the Anime Challenge. Well, that’s not happening this year! This time around I am going to have to think of 31 things to blog about… what have I done…

What have I been reading?

I have about thirty pages left of It. I am so damn close to finishing. While the action and tension is increasing, I feel that the last third of the book isn’t as good as the rest of the novel has been. I think its down to the fact that the narrative, towards the end, focuses on the adult characters rather than their 11 year old selves; which I personally don’t find as interesting as the children.SO finger crossed, next week I can give you guys my final impression of It.

What have I been playing?

The MMOS are back! In Elder Scrolls Online, I’ve decided to go back to the role I’m more comfortable with, the role of the healer. So I’ve created a Breton Templar, who is only at level 5, at the moment. I haven’t got a screenshot of her yet, but I’ll include one in next week’s post. As for Final Fantasy XIV, I’ve been taking part in another event, this time its the Final Fantasy XI crossover called The Maiden’s Rhapsody.

Aside from MMOs, I’ve spent some time time playing Horizon Zero Dawn, mainly hunting collectables, atop my tamed Strider. I’ve also been playing (a lot) of assassin’s Creed Origins. I’ve been spending a lot of time in the desert were freaking things keep happening, like hearing voices, seeing burning bushes and seeing it rain insects.

So if you have the game and haven’t had a chance to experience this weird phenomena, head out into the desert and wait there for a little while, I would love to know what you’ve seen, so let me know!

What am I blogging about this week?

Tuesday’s post will be a Recommended Gaming post, where I’ll be recommending one of my favourite RPGs. On Thursday, I’ll be talking about the Final Fantasy XIV seasonal event, The Maiden’s Rhapsody and what I thought of it. Finally on Saturday, I’ll be talking about the third episode of X-Men: The Animated Series, which is called Enter Magneto.
